The GoGos Energy Source

GoGos receive energy to solve Earth’s problems from an ever-changing formation in space. It spins and spins as it generates energy. The more good GoGos do for humans, the more pleased the Energy Source is and creates a Utopia for both GoGos and humans on their planets.

Embellishing GoGo Huts

The GoGo Culture uses green foliage to make their huts. Sometimes the foliage is dried to a natural yellow color. They use natural plant dyes to paint parts of their huts to resemble the multicultural colors of their own culture. They receive energy from their Energy Source through the roofs of their huts.

Water Vapor Sketch for Artifact

This is my sketch for my Artifact assignment. I was inspired by two water jugs I had stored in my mudroom. I emptied them out, spray painted them, then embellished them with vapory type objects.

Where My Culture Lives

The original assignment was to create a garment or something that our culture wears. But my GoGo culture just lives in their own plastic shiny skin, so I decided to create a 3D version of where my culture lives--a hut.

Here are some of the steps I took to create it. I soaked the circle cut cardboard in my laundry sink for a half hour and then molded it and shaped it around a ball to get the dome shape of the hut roof.

Assemblage—Artifact Left By My Culture

My culture believes in not polluting the earth and leaving anything behind. That is why my culture's artifact is water vapor from their mother earth ship that vanishes into thin air.

Materials used are two water jugs, yarn, bubble wrap, clear sheet protectors, CLIFF Bar box, PacSun Shopping bag, cotton balls, stitch witch, patterned duct tape, and hot glue. See my progress below.
