My GoGos individually are about an inch tall and made of plastic. I decided to make a prototype of the GoGo on top of my Time Keeper. It is a good way to see what a GoGo looks like in a larger rendition. My GoGo is very smooth in surface. I decided to use cardboard as my material painted with acrylic paint that has a sheen to it when dry. GoGos are very shiny on the surface. Some are even metallic. I documented my process, including mixing paint to get a purplish pink petina.
This is the original GoGo on top of the Time Keeper.
These photos show the steps I took to cut out the cardboard and styrofoam and hot glue everything together. I mixed red, crimson, blue and white acrylic paint to get the purplish color. This is just one GoGo design. There are hundreds of GoGos out there. They are a multi-culture and do not let their differences get in the way of making decisions about protecting the earth.
